I am a multimedia journalist with a passion for investigative and enterprise reporting.

My work has been published by more than 25 publications across the U.S. As of January 2018, I am a Florida government/politics reporter for the Tampa Bay Times and the Miami Herald's Tallahassee bureau at the state capital.

Previously, I have reported for the Houston ChronicleArizona Center for Investigative Reporting, The Arizona Republic, the News21 fellowship program and university publications.

My proudest work includes national and local stories that involved data analysis of public records to investigate government officials, agencies and law enforcement.

After several of my investigations, the Arizona government made significant reforms to state laws or protocol.

I have also reported on international issues along the U.S.-Mexico border and in Europe, exploring the effects of immigration policy changes, trade and racial tensions.

I graduated with a master's in mass communication from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in May 2017.

I also earned by B.A. in journalism from the Cronkite School and graduated summa cum laude in May 2016.

During my News21 fellowship, I reported on voting rights around the country, including inside a maximum security prison in Maine.
