Published work

Investigations and spot coverage
During my internship at the Miami Herald, I completed two investigations, both of which were published on the front page of Sunday editions.
Voters will face a maze of new requirements in November
I managed a team of reporters to analyze changes to all 50 states' voting laws which made voting more difficult. I also traveled to four states and the Republican National Convention to conduct interviews, some of which were included in other stories throughout the News21 project. This story was picked up by more than 20 outlets across the U.S.
'It’s hard to be a Gypsy in my town
For this in-depth story looking at anti-Roma and Gypsy discrimination, I traveled to Hungary and Slovakia as part of a Cronkite reporting program. I interviewed residents of impoverished villages as well as top Hungarian diplomats after researching race relations for months.
Fact checks and breaking news
I worked two different positions at the Republic, a AZ Fact Check Intern and a Breaking News Intern, though sometimes I did enterprise stories on the side as well.
Borderlands and government accountability beats
I worked two different semesters, Spring 2015 and Spring 2017 at Cronkite News, the Cronkite School's online publication. I traveled to the border and into Mexico multiple times for borderlands stories, and wrote for Cronkite News while at the 2016 RNC.
Investigative reporting
After being a general assignment reporter for The State Press, the student-run newspaper covering ASU, I served as their investigative reporter for one school year.
